Road safety

We constantly strive to keep road users as safe as possible on Kent's roads.

We do this through pedestrian, driver, rider and cyclist training. We also use countywide road safety awareness campaigns, education programmes and safety engineering measures.

Cyclists

As it grows in popularity, many people are using their bike as a mode of transport and not purely for leisure.

Although statistically cycling is safe, it is important that cyclists are careful to keep themselves safe when cycling

Pedestrians

Safety on the road is very important to us and we strive to reduce casualties on Kent's roads.

Teaching children road safety skills is vital to help them stay safe. We do this through training with Small Steps

Drivers

Being aware of the consequences of your driving behaviour means safer driving

By changing the way you drive, there is less risk to you, your passengers, and other road users.

Community Speed Watch

Community Speed Watch is a scheme that enables local people to address speeding issues in their own communities.

To find out about delivering Speed Watch in your area please visit the speed watch page.
