Thanet Parkway Railway Station

Thanet Parkway is part of Network Rail’s Thanet Corridor Enhancements Programme.

Located between Ramsgate and Minster, Thanet Parkway station opened on 31 July 2023. The station offers high speed trains to London St Pancras in 70 minutes. It also provides mainline services in Kent.

You can access the station from the A299 Hengist Way.

Car parking

We operate the station car park, which has 293 parking spaces. There are also 16 spaces for Blue Badge holders and 12 charging points for electric cars. Secure cycle racks are also available.

The car park is managed by Euro Parking Services Ltd on our behalf.

Pay for parking

To park, register your details via the RingGo website or on the My RingGo app to:

• buy daily or weekly parking permits
• view the latest car parking prices.

Or pay using a ticket machine at the station.

If you are a Blue Badge holder, bays are available in either car park. Parking charges apply.

Drop off zone

If you need to drop off or pick up someone, there is a free 40-minute waiting period in our dedicated area.

Electric vehicles

We have 12 electric vehicle (EV) charging points at the station, including an accessible EV disabled parking bay. These are looked after by Connected Kerb and need to be paid for separately. To charge your car visit the Connected Kerb website or download the app on your Android or your iPhone.

Latest updates

Since opening, the station has averaged 200 passengers a day and we expect more in 2024, with the number of weekend passengers already exceeding expectations.

We estimate around 75% of station journeys are made sustainably, mostly by walking or cycling.

We'll keep working with Network Rail, Southeastern, and Thanet District Council to make the station the hub of Thanet transportation.
