To achieve our vision, Kent County Council has a plan
called the Local Transport Plan for Kent (LTP). The LTP tells the
Government how we will work towards our transport vision over a
five-year period and outlines the funding that we require from
Government to achieve this vision.
The first LTP for Kent was submitted in 2001 and covers the
period 2001-06. Every year, we report to the Government on
progress.

Annual Progress Reports 2001-05.
Kent County Council submitted a
Delivery
Report in July 2006 which outlines the achievements of the
first LTP for Kent.
The second LTP for Kent 2006-11 was submitted to the Government
on 31 March 2006. View the
final LTP 2006-11 (link opens in a new window)

appendices.
Kent County Council submitted a
Draft Delivery Report in July 2008, which reviews progress to
date (April 2006 - March 2008) and looks forward to the remainder
of the second LTP period (April 2008 - March 2011) to identify
risks and opportunities to future delivery.
As part of this process the Government has recommended that
local authorities consult with Local Strategic Partnerships and
other key partners and stakeholders in the development of the Final
Delivery Report. In response to this comments are invited to be
submitted by Friday 26 September 2008 to
