Business and commercial waste

You must take your waste to a transfer station or a permitted waste station. Or, pay a licensed company to collect it.

You must not take it to a household waste recycling centre.

If you are a waste collector or transport waste

Any business transporting waste, whether their own or someone else's, either for free of charge or to make a profit, must register as a waste carrier with the Environment Agency in England. You can register online or call 03708 506 506.
