Fraud prevention
We have a zero tolerance approach to fraud and investigate all instances of actual, attempted and suspected fraud that pose a threat to our resources.
If you have information relating to fraud against Kent County Council, report it online. Or speak to a member of the Internal Audit team on 03000 41 45 00.

Fraud prevention data
The data shows the:
- total number of cases of irregularity investigated excludes one incident which remains under investigation and has yet to be classified
- total monetary value of fraud and irregularity detected includes the value of attempted fraud where the loss was prevented and therefore no actual loss was incurred
- total monetary value of fraud and irregularity recovered includes amounts where recovery remains ongoing.
