I want you to vote for me because:

I am an ambitious, devoted and environmentally-driven teenager who is prepared to make a difference for the good in your local community.

Issue 1: free bus travel for school students

I am hoping to introduce regulations in which school children are allowed to travel to and from school by bus for free on weekdays. As a single parent child, I'm extremely reliant on buses that take me to school. If I couldn't afford these buses, I'd be unable to travel there, and unable to learn.

Issue 2: more bins in community areas to reduce the temptation of littering

Littering is a massive issue in local communities. Some people may feel inclined to litter because of their own negligence, however the main issue stems from a lack of bins. With this, I also believe that there should be more recycling bins around, encouraging proper waste management.

Issue 3: more advocation on antisocial behaviour

In collaboration with the police and youth organisations, I would like to increase advocation on anti-social behaviour, as it's a large issue in local communities. This can be done through school assemblies, posters or online advertisement, aimed at children and teenagers who are the main culprits.

I want you to vote for me because:

I have a good leadership qualities. I was house captain and young interpreter in my primary and currently I’m school ambassador.

Issue 1: decrease school lunch prices

I would like the schools in Kent to decrease the school lunch prices because some students can't even afford a meal. I want that every one can easily eat fresh and healthy food in school.

Issue 2: stop racism and bullying

I want to take some action to stop racism and bullying. I will make people aware of their rights and action they can take if they are bullied because it affects there mental health. This effect there self confidence. Racism should not be acceptable by anyone as all are equal.

Issue 3: mental health is important

I will make people aware about importance of mental health and they should not hide if they are feeling low. We can talk to them, counsel them, if they are dealing with dispersion. They need to talk and someone need to listen them. Make them laugh. So that they can feel happy.

I want you to vote for me because:

I believe we, the under-18s, are under-represented politically amid some important national-level negative impacts on our university's life.

Issue 1: ask sixth formers before any changes which negatively affect the higher education sector

I want to voice up the concerns from six-form students about recent changes in international students VISA, which leads to the higher education sector being dragged to a financial crisis. Less reputable universities are affected disproportionately (lower quality expected for less able students).

Issue 2: support for the youth to get decent pay in employments

Many of us from the lower background are refusing to lose our ‘earnings virginity’ altogether. It makes more sense for us to continue to be ‘full-time sons/daughters’ than to start working and see the earnings is nowhere close to matching with the rising expenses we need to part the nest.

Issue 3: more support for the under-18s to campaign politically

I see too many of us having no interest in politics, simply because we believe 'nobody cares'. We need more examples of our voices do make a change, that will encourage more involvement from the under-18s.

I want you to vote for me because:

With my prior experience I want to improve and develop our campaign group for a better and safer community.

Issue 1: tackling poverty

I want to make more opportunities and alternatives to people who struggle with the cost of living due to the inflation rates.

Issue 2: environment

I want to improve our communities by reducing the absurd amount of waste that's just left to rot on our streets.

Issue 3: public transport

I want to make it not just safer but also cheaper, so that families who struggle can relieve the stress of transportation.

I want you to vote for me because:

I believe in your passion for making a change for young children. It's so important to advocate for their needs and create a better future for them.

Issue 1: tackling poverty

Tackling poverty is a crucial issue that requires collective effort and commitment. Supporting initiatives that provide access to education, healthcare and job opportunities can empower individuals and families to break the cycle of poverty. It's essential to raise awareness about the challenges faced by those living in poverty and advocate for policies that promote social and economic equality. By working together, we can create sustainable solutions that uplift communities and ensure that everyone has the chance to thrive. Your involvement in this cause can inspire others to take action and contribute to meaningful change.

Issue 2: racism and discrimination

Supporting racism and discrimination is not something we should ever condone. It's important to stand against all forms of prejudice and promote equality and respect for everyone, regardless of their background. We need to raise awareness about the harmful effects of discrimination and work towards creating inclusive environments where everyone feels valued and accepted. By educating ourselves and others, we can challenge stereotypes and foster understanding among different communities. Embracing diversity enriches our society and helps build a brighter future for all.

Issue 3: raising awareness about Israel-Palestine war

The Israel-Palestine conflict is a deeply rooted and complex issue that has persisted for decades, leading to significant human suffering and geopolitical instability. Raising awareness about this conflict is essential for understanding the historical context, the perspectives of both Israelis and Palestinians, and the humanitarian impact on civilians. Many people are affected by violence, displacement, and loss, and it's crucial to advocate for peace and dialogue that respects the rights and dignity of all involved. By educating ourselves and others about the nuances of this conflict, we can contribute to a more informed and compassionate discourse that seeks to promote justice and coexistence.

I want you to vote for me because:

I'd like to be elected because I feel I can make a positive change to Kent and make it a better place for young people in general.

Issue 1: clean up Kent

For this campaign, I'd like to add more bins in parks, heaths and high streets because there is lots of litter and just an overall dirtier place. I would also like to do regular litter pick ups around schools to further promote a cleaner Earth and
surrounding.

Issue 2: safer crossing

On a daily basis I see many children and kids my age cross the road without looking from their phones, or running across the road. So, I believe there should be more zebra crossings along pathways students take to school. I also believe we should start promoting checking your left and rights.

Issue 3: better buses

Many of my classmates arrive late to school for things that aren't their fault, like late buses or buses skipping their stops. I also hear many complaints from friends how buses are dirty. I believe to combat these negatives we should promote correct conduct on buses and by adding more bins to buses.

I want you to vote for me because:

I believe I can spread joy and also think no one should be treated unfairly.

Issue 1: helping people

I would make sure everyone feels welcomed and not treated unfairly.

Issue 2: fundraisers

I would raise fundraisers so I can donate to different charities.

Issue 3: making people feel welcomed

I would make sure no one is feeling left out and is always feeling welcomed.

I want you to vote for me because:

I'm really passionate about speaking up for what's right and I just really want to help as much as I can.

Issue 1: mental health for children

I want to focus on mental health for children rather than teenagers. I believe that, yes mental health services have improved for children, but I still think that it just isn't quite enough. So, I want to try my best to get more mental health services in primary schools, perhaps for year 6s.

Issue 2: loneliness in schools

I have noticed a lot of children do not have a stable group of friends which they can hang around at lunch or break. To fix this problem, I believe there should be clubs once a week at lunch and/or break that makes them feel less alone.

Issue 3: empowerment for girls in STEM

There is not enough empowerment for girls in STEM. I believe there should be more opportunities like workshops and just anything like that for girls who do want to go in STEM, because we need to empower them and get them to where they need to be to get that job.

I want you to vote for me because:

Like Martin Luther King once said, “I have a dream”. I have a dream to impact our future and make our voices flourish into ideas.

Issue 1: embracing cultural diversity and shared history

As a person of mixed ethnic background, I find that sometimes my culture seems to get forgotten about within the school environment. I believe that schools in our community don’t do enough to embrace our cultural diversity and I believe that educating people on this will aide in social cohesion.

Issue 2: first aid training should be more prominent

First aid is a crucial part of everyday life, but do people really know how to use it in the right way? I want to offer free first aid days for the public. I also want to make first aid more prominent in schools, as I feel it should be a mandatory topic to learn.

Issue 3: environmental impacts and littering laws should be enforced

Many people and students have adopted poor environmental awareness and habits. Seems trivial but the impact is damaging. I want to have greater enforcement of existing laws and encourage litter picking days within the community.

I want you to vote for me because:

I want to make sure that young people are heard and seen and proud about themselves I want the future generations to live in a safe place.

Issue 1: affordable education for the present and future generations

I want to make sure that both the present and the future generation have access to safe affordable and clean education which will be placed in a clean environment with no risk of disease and all people no matter their ethnicity, religion and gender all to have access to free education for many years.

Issue 2: to create many events and charity for people in need

I would like to organise event to help those in need and persuade the rest of the community to provide resources for all families, especially to provide food, clothes and daily household supplies and I would love to get involved by providing support for elderly people as well not only kids.

Issue 3: educate and help to stop young people and families to commit crime

I would like to provide lectures for students, young people and older people to understand the importance of stopping crimes as not only it can affect them but the future generations, as this year the crime rate increased by 8% comparing to 2023, which can cause population decrease.

I want you to vote for me because:

Because I would love to help out my community and others by giving valuable ideas and helpful tips to people or resolving different issues. I would like to resolve different issues around my area and to give everyone a voice to what can help our community. Also, if they have any good ideas to make their voices heard.

Issue 1: litter picking

Issue 2: food

Issue 3: equality

I want you to vote for me because:

I am brave enough to speak my truth and give the youth a better future. I want to make sure everybody is heard in our community!

Issue 1: kids and finding hobbies and communities after COVID-19

One idea is to create more youth groups throughout the area, which can allow children to gain more interests and discover new hobbies, outside of gaming and social media, whilst helping them get more involved in activities allowing them to know they have a community and make new friends!

Issue 2: better pastoral care in schools for vulnerable children. Schools without proper pastoral care

Schools without proper pastoral care, there is increased behaviour and mental health challenges this causes issues to go undetected, leading it to worsen and children not feeling safe. The schools and council should give these kids better treatment and make sure they have staff with proper training.

Issue 3: tackle experimental drug use with young people in Kent, offering them help and guidance

There needs to be more resources for children to safely get help for addictions and experimental drug use, within schools and local communities without getting in big trouble. We need to teach children deeply about the risks and effects of substance use but also the long-term effects of addiction.

I want you to vote for me because:

I will try empowering young people, involves enhancing education, providing robust mental health support and promoting civic engagements.

Issue 1: elevate the future - building better lives for youth today

I would try to incorporate educational programmes, mental health support, community engagement, advocacy and awareness, youth voices platform and more.

Issue 2: rise together - nurturing the wellbeing of youth

I will try to incorporate: safe spaces for youth, health and wellness education, crisis support services, mentorship and guidance, bullying and cyber-bullying prevention, parental and community involvement.

Issue 3: thrive together - caring for all, shaping tomorrow

I will try to incorporate community support networks, inclusive wellness programmes, skill-sharing and learning, volunteer opportunities, inter-generational projects, accessible resources and so on.

I want you to vote for me because:

I want to make the world a better place for young people by having clean streets to walk on, including less litter, harmful to wildlife.

Issue 1: animal welfare

I want to make the streets cleaner and safer for wildlife by having less litter lying about everywhere just waiting for animals to crawl into it and get stuck. I want a safer living environment for the wildlife by them being able to roam around freely in nature.

Issue 2: graffiti

A lot of the time nowadays there is graffiti everywhere, people just vandalising everything. They even vandalise road signs, sometimes covering up important information. I want to put a stop to this. I want to make our roads safer and cleaner.

Issue 3: street safety

Roads to cross can be quite dangerous especially for school children who have to cross them everyday just to get to school. I want to make road crossing safer by having islands on every busy highway road and lollipop patrols if needed. About 70 kids a year die in car accidents - that needs to stop.

I want you to vote for me because:

Children think they are too young to raise their voice in public, but I want change that and support everyone who suffers from not being heard.

Issue 1: improve the lives of young people

I would like to improve the lives of young pupils who live in Kent. I hope you vote for me.

Issue 2: help and support young voices in Kent

I would like to make a big change in Kent by giving the needs that adolescents need.

Issue 3: lets make Kent better for juniors and pupils

To make Kent even more superior vote Sarvesha to be a Kent Youth County Council district representative.

I want you to vote for me because:

I’m confident, I have a voice and want to use it to help others. I can be a great leader or teammate, I’m determined and can get stuff done.

Issue 1: litter

I would like to firstly campaign litter because this is a huge problem and most towns and people who live there are used to it. My school take part in a great litter pick once a year, however doing one litter pick a school year isn’t helping we would all benefit if we do litter picks regularly.

Issue 2: mental health

This is a massive issue for young adults/teens due to stress of school, work and tests. My school are lucky enough to have the NHS wellbeing team. However, some schools don’t, so I would improve this my trying to get more people to be seen as the more happiness equals a better outcome for life.

Issue 3: youth day

I believe it it’s important to have a day or even an hour just to relax and not be sat at a desk struggling, so youth day should happen once a month and people do fun activities or something other then just sitting down at a desk reading, writing or doing maths. This could easily benefit many teens.

I want you to vote for me because:

I want to provide young people with a chance, an opportunity and an experience to improve our lives effectively.

Issue 1: free activities

Young people can socialise with others their own age without having to be in a school environment by participating in free activities, such as, teen-focused parks and competitions. Additionally, students based in Kent also having the opportunity to participate in debates and public speaking.

Issue 2: safety at night

Installing more streetlights to make young people feel less vulnerable at night as many young people leave clubs at around 7pm and feel uncomfortable getting home.

Issue 3: an increase of job fairs for young people

Increasing the number of Job fairs accessible to the youth so they can have a sense of income after the stress of GCSEs and during the Year 11 break. Partnering up with local companies towards the end of summer each year and increasing the number of apprenticeships available for young people.

I want you to vote for me because:

We don't want change. We need it. Now. I want the young people of Kent to be given the utmost environmental, social and physical care.

Issue 1: more green areas in schools, youth centres and clubs for young people

Young people living in Kent, aren't exposed to green areas and botanical knowledge enough to be enriched by the biodiversity that's found in Kent. To combat this, I'd like gardening, beekeeping, foraging and activities similar to this, to be introduced into a weekly curriculum for young people.

Issue 2: young people of Kent to develop a love for music and diversity

With a passion for music, I know there are many people like me that are urging to express their feelings through this art form. To combat this issue, and boost confidence in young people like me, I would like musical and cultural performances to be held in public areas, and musical masterclasses too.

Issue 3: mental and physical wellbeing of young people in an engaging way

Young people tend to push their mental and physical needs to the side. I want them to value them. To combat this, I would like group activities, like cooking classes, team sports, and weekend interest clubs to help young people come together and share their passions and improve their wellbeing.
