Striking the balance - our local transport plan

Our fifth local transport plan called Striking the Balance tells you how we will work towards our transport vision over the coming years. It brings together our transport policies and proposals, given the challenges and opportunities the county faces.

This plan builds on the success of the previous plan Local Transport Plan 4: Delivering Growth without Gridlock (2017) (PDF, 2.7 MB) and seeks to deliver those remaining proposals that are still needed to support journeys in Kent.

The Local Transport Plan is a critical tool that assists us to plan and attract investments from central government and other organisations for transport schemes.
