Department of Education notices

Under sections 554 and 556 of the Education Act 1996, the Department for Education (on behalf of the Secretary of State) is required to publicise through the relevant local council, its intention to dispose of buildings that were previously a voluntary aided school in order to invest any proceeds for the benefit of new and continuing voluntary aided and foundation schools of the same denomination.
