Bus passes for older or disabled people
Your free off-peak travel bus pass allows you to travel:
- between 9:30am and 11pm, Monday to Friday
- all day at weekends
- on public holidays
- on the Park and Ride bus in Canterbury (parking charges apply)
- across Kent, London and the rest of England.
To use your pass, simply tap it on the smart ticket machine when you get on the bus. If it isn't working, show your pass to the bus driver. Your bus pass cannot be used on coaches or trains.
Travelling to London? You don't need to tap your pass. Instead, show your pass to the bus driver.
This is an English National Concessionary Travel Scheme. The government sets the eligibility and times for using your card.
