Renewable Energy Action Plan

The Kent Renewable Energy Action Plan was developed with partners and key stakeholders across Kent in 2013. Many of the actions were later incorporated into the Kent Environment Strategy.

The plan is underpinned by a study carried out on our behalf by AECOM to explore the availability of renewable resources in the county and consider the likelihood of these resources being developed. The study also considered the role of different partners in the delivery of renewable energy for Kent, as well as the wider community and economic benefits of developing our resources.

The study was updated by AECOM in 2017.
