Sustainable drainage systems (SuDS) reduce the risk of flooding by mimicking natural water management processes.

In this case study, we take a look at how school estates can provide an ideal opportunity to use SuDS planters to reduce local flood risk. These specialised planters capture surface water from rooftops to manage the volume of water entering the local drainage network during heavy rainfall.
