Low Carbon Plus

The Low Carbon Plus project offered grants to businesses to fund 45% of the cost of qualifying projects. The minimum grant that could be awarded was £1,000 and the maximum grant amount was £20,000.

The project was supported by funding from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), which is managed by the Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG).

The Low Carbon Plus project has now finished, but the Low Carbon Across the South East (LoCASE) project  has now started. LoCASE offers similar services and funding to businesses, including funding for Energy Efficiency Measures. The project also covers the areas of Essex, Thurrock, Southend-on-Sea and East Sussex as well as Kent and Medway.
