Habitat opportunities and surveys

The habitat opportunity data has been developed from field-level information on the current distribution of habitats in Kent, the distribution of protected areas and areas under agri-environment schemes. Ecological rules have been used to identify the best opportunities for habitat creation. The rules are aimed at increasing valuable habitats within Kent and reducing the effects of fragmentation across the landscape.

Visit our habitat survey webpage for more information.
