Kent Test

The Kent Test is designed to assess whether grammar school is a suitable option for your child.

October 2026 update: We have appointed a new provider, Quest Assessments, for the Kent Test from 2027. The test’s purpose, format, timing and role in grammar school admissions will remain the same, and there will be no changes to the admissions process, eligibility criteria, support arrangements or Headteacher Assessments. You will see very little difference. New familiarisation materials will be available when we have them.
