Great British Insulation Scheme (GBIS)

GBIS is a government scheme offering free or cheaper insulation to help reduce energy bills. You can apply if your home:

• has an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) of D or below (check your EPC) and
• is in Council Tax bands A to D in England or A to E in Scotland or Wales (check your Council Tax band).
