Trespass

It is your responsibility to stop people trespassing on your land. You can consider:

  • whether you can take any physical steps to stop people accessing your land
  • if you or your solicitor can get a court order granting you possession of your land.

The police can't take action against trespass on land but it may be taken into account if they are considering evicting the campers.

Rubbish

The campers should keep their site tidy but you are responsible for removing the rubbish from your land.
