Chillenden Windmill

One of four surviving post mills in Kent, built in 1868, rebuilt in 2003, and managed by the Friends of Chillenden Windmill.
Drapers Mill, Margate

Built circa 1850, this black smock mill was restored in 2019. Managed by Drapers Windmill Trust, it features a small museum and souvenir shop.
Herne Windmill

Built in 1789, this Grade I listed smock mill has three pairs of millstones and offers milling displays and disabled access.
Meopham Windmill

Meopham Windmill, built around 1820, is a rare six-sided smock mill with a black tower on a two-storey brick base, housing original milling machinery.
Stelling Minnis Mill

Built in 1866, this Grade I listed black smock mill is managed by Stelling Minnis Mill and Museum Trust. Enjoy summer cream teas and a small museum.
Stocks Mill

Stocks Mill, a Grade II listed post mill from 1781, features a white body and superb wooden machinery. Opened by volunteers, accessible by appointment.
West Kingsdown Windmill

West Kingsdown Mill, a Grade II listed black smock mill from 1800, features patent sweeps, a seven-bladed fantail, and retains its original machinery.
Union Mill, Cranbrook

Union Mill, built in 1814, is England's tallest working smock mill with a white tower on a three-storey brick base. It features historical exhibits.
