If you have other accessibility queries in advance of your visit, contact us:

Café

The café is on ground floor level and has a small covered seating area as well as external seating on decking that is accessible via surfaced pathways.

Find out more about our café.

Toilets

We have separate male and female toilets and one unisex accessible toilet at the back of the main building which can be accessed via surfaced pathways and does not require a RADAR key to access.

Toilet facilities are available at all times when the car park is open to visitors, even if the café and shop are closed.

Parking

There are 3 hard standing allocated disabled spaces which are located in the main car park nearest to the café and toilets.

The main facilities are approximately 10 metres away and can be accessed via a surfaced pathway. There are also a further 100 spaces on hard standing that are within 50 metres of the facilities and an overflow car park on plastic grids (an uneven surface) that is only usable in peak season.

If you are a Blue Badge holder, purchase an annual season ticket in advance of your visit for a discounted cost of £8. The annual season ticket gives you access to all of our country park car parks free of charge during the year.

To purchase your season ticket call 03000 41 72 72, and have your Blue Badge number and credit or debit card handy for reference.

Paths

There are 284 metres of surfaced path that form a circular route between the café, play area and lake, which have a loose stone fill surface but do involve some steep gradients. There are also 2 public footpaths that cross the park as well as unsurfaced routes throughout the park which have gates to access the different compartments.

Play area

Our play area includes:

  • junior and toddler climbing frames
  • nest swing
  • inclusive roundabout
  • loudspeakers which are great for role play and sensory stimulations.

The play area is surfaced with recycled, rubber ‘Wetpour’ safety surfacing. The all-weather, impact absorbing surfacing helps prevent injuries while children are playing.

The play area is designed to improve free access to health and wellbeing activities and to stimulate challenging, creative and sociable play. The work complements the existing beautiful wildflower meadows, woodland copses and lake at Manor Country Park.
