HASTE driver training course

HASTE (Hazard Awareness, Space, Time, Eco-driving) is open to all drivers that hold a full driving licence.

The course

The course is classroom based and helps you to stay safer on the road. It focuses on a range of techniques for safer and less stressful driving. The course improves your ability to judge and maintain a safe and legal speed for the area you are travelling in.

The course covers the following topics:

  • hazard awareness
  • the importance of space and time
  • eco-driving techniques
  • speed and severity.

By improving your knowledge of these topics, you may reduce the risk of being involved in a serious crash.

The course encourages participation and discussion and lasts approximately 3 hours 30 minutes.

Cost and location

It costs £35 per person and is held in Ashford and Aylesford. It may be possible to arrange alternative venues, especially if groups of drivers come from a similar location.
