Pay a penalty charge notice

All moving traffic violations are charged at £70. Whilst PCNs issued by your district council may be less.

Pay your PCN

You can pay your penalty charge notice (PCN) online, if your PCN starts with 'KN'. If the PCN does not start with KN, contact the district council where it was issued.

Pay a penalty charge notice online

If you pay the cost within 21 days of the date the PCN was served, you will get a 50% discount. For district council PCN's the discount period is 14 days.

Challenge a penalty charge notice

If you dispute the PCN then you will need to make a formal representation within 28 days from the date the postal PCN was deemed served.
