Parking tickets and fines
Your district council issues parking tickets and fines.
If you pay your parking fine within 14 days, they will only charge you half of the fine. You'll get a parking ticket (Penalty Charge Notice) for £70 or £50, depending on what you've done.
Parking ticket charges and rules are the same wherever you live in Kent.
You can pay your parking ticket through your district council. Details will be on the back of the ticket. If you want to appeal a parking ticket, you must do so within 14 days of receiving the ticket. You can do this through your district council.
