[Title card and voiceover] Did you know that you could be eligible for free childcare for your two year old?

Voiceover: Some families can receive up to 15 hours of free childcare every week for 38 weeks of the year at a nursery, preschool or with a childminder.
In Kent, this scheme is known as Free for Two.
Childcare for your two year old opens up a world of possibilities. They learn vital social and communication skills with other children, and they get to take part in fun play activities, which helps them to develop and learn. And it frees up time for parents or carers to return to work or take part in learning activities themselves.
Studies have shown that children who attend good quality early years education settings are more likely to do better when they start school. It gives them the best start to school life.
The Free for Two scheme is available to those who fit the eligibility criteria. So if you are in receipt of certain benefits such as Jobseeker's Allowance for Universal Credit or your child receives disability Living Allowance or has an Education, Health and Care Plan, then you could be eligible.
Applying online is easy. You'll be given a voucher code, which you should take to a setting that accepts the scheme. But you'll also need to ask them about the full details of their offer, including any voluntary charges they may have.
Visit Kent.gov.uk/freechildcare and apply today to help your child to develop, learn and grow.
