Hello to you all. My name is Shirley and I want to share my story with you.

I was a victim of a doorstep criminal and I lost £10,000 to a roofing scammer, it was a terrifying experience but I learned a lot and I want to help you stay safe.

Doorstep criminals are organised crime gangs and have honed their skills. They will manipulate you and trick you into agreeing to work that you don't need. They make it seem like the danger to your home is imminent, that you must act now. These are the tactics they use to make you worried and not give you a chance to make an informed decision.

Remember, these criminals are very convincing, they know how to pressure you and make you feel scared but you don't have to believe their tricks. Always take your time to think and ask someone you trust before making any decisions.
